The new corrosion protection concentrates from Richard Geiss GmbH reliably preserve parts and surfaces. The secret lies in the higher concentration of the active ingredient in the finished product.
The Geiss corrosion protection concentrates RG Protect 180 and RG Protect 160 offerprotectionfor carefully cleaned parts and surfaces. Used in cleaning systems for surface cleaning, they are effective in chlorinated hydrocarbons, hydrocarbon solutions and modified alcohols. The new RG Protect 160 provides a particularly high level of corrosion protection. It is suitable for use in industrial parts and surface cleaning.
In fact, the latest innovation, the RG Protect 160, has been specially developed for companies in the industrial parts and surface cleaning sector, for whom long-lasting corrosion protection is important, explains Bastian Geiss, Managing Partner of Geiss GmbH. RG Protect 160 is even more concentrated than the proven RG Protect 180. The addition of two percent RG Protect 160 in the preservation bath enables effective corrosion protection of parts for up to two months (when stored under the roof).
For comparison: with the same dosage, RG Protect 180 guarantees corrosion protection for up to one month. With a twelve percent addition of RG Protect 160 in the preservation bath, protection of parts is even guaranteed for up to twelve months.
Tailored to corrosion protection specifications
In a concentration of two to twelve percent in the preservation bath, the two corrosion protection concentrates leave a transparent, effective and long-lasting protective film that achieves very good results in both the salt spray test and the damp climate test. To ensure targeted corrosion protection, the concentration of the protective medium in the solvent bath must be determined. Modified alcohols are determined using the Geiss Digital Indexer; perchloroethylene baths are determined using the Geiss PER Density Test. The specialists at Richard Geiss GmbH's in-house laboratory in Offingen also help to determine the correct concentration.
The two corrosion protection concentrates do not resinify, are free of barium and VOCs and have a mild odor during application. They are available in different containers, from 20 to 1000 liters.
