A long-time employee of the German Research Association for Surface Treatment e. V. (DFO) passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of just 52. Nicole Dopheide worked for the DFO from 2002 to 2023. She was responsible for many areas. Among other things, she headed specialist committees, supervised research projects, organized trade fairs and conferences and was also active in the field of specialist consulting for companies. Under Nicole Dopheide's leadership, DFO also successfully introduced DIN EN ISO 9001 certification. Nicole Dopheide was highly appreciated by her colleagues, the members of DFO, the board of DFO e.V. and the advisory board of DFO Service GmbH.
