The range of 3D printable materials with HP Multi Jet Fusion 5210 technology on an industrial scale now includes polyamide 11 (PA 11), a material that is considered environmentally friendly.
According to Weerg, PA 11 is the only technopolymer made from a renewable raw material of plant origin such as castor oil. It is said to reduce theCO2 footprint, i.e. the climate footprint, by more than 60%, and also ensures an excellent reusability rate of up to 70% for surplus material in post-production.
