Serfilco GmbH has successfully transferred its positive experience from electroplating to the aluminium anodizing process. The tried and tested nozzle systems stabilize the process by improving uniform temperature distribution. The method very efficiently reduces the formation of defects due to uneven heat dissipation or heat build-up between stacked products such as panels or profiled sheets.
As in electroplating, the nozzle systems support the coating process very effectively, especially in the case of difficult component geometry with holes, folded profiles, etc., because the process solution is also moved reliably in these areas. "In the anodizing process, heat often builds up in the often narrow gaps between stacked sheets or profiles, which leads to defects and rejects. With a targeted and even flow through these gaps, this can be prevented and scrap can be significantly reduced," explains Walter Masur, Head of Sales and Marketing at the German branch of the Serfilco Group.
