The 21st parts2clean opens its doors in Stuttgart from October 7 to 9, 2025. From degreasing and deburring to classic component cleaning and ultra-fine or high-purity applications - the solutions presented by the exhibitors at this year's parts2clean are just as diverse as the tasks in the industry. In addition, the attractive supporting program of the 21st leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning enables visitors to generate know-how for the reliable, economical and sustainable implementation of their individual cleaning tasks.

The quality and flawless functioning of products depends crucially on the cleanliness of individual components. This not only makes parts cleaning a value-adding factor in all industrial sectors, but also makes the good and simple cleanability of components a prerequisite for the implementation of new product developments. On the one hand, the aim is to achieve defined cleanliness specifications in a stable and economical manner, while on the other hand, parts cleaning must be designed to conserve energy and resources due to stricter climate protection requirements and purely for cost reasons. This presents companies with new challenges in many respects. In order to remain competitive in the future, it is not enough to simply know the current requirements for the surface quality of workpieces in the various industrial sectors; it is also essential to implement solutions for improved sustainability and greater cost-effectiveness in parts cleaning. In addition, clean packaging and transportation of parts play an important role. By addressing all these topics and thus offering the world's most comprehensive range of solutions for all areas of industrial parts cleaning, parts2clean is therefore the ideal information and procurement platform. This is also demonstrated by the fact that all international market and technology leaders will be represented at this leading international trade fair.

Innovations, trends and knowledge to solve challenges

As many of the companies use their trade fair presence to present new and further developed solutions, the exhibitors' presentations are the essential part of a visit to the trade fair. The exhibitor area is complemented by a sophisticated supporting program. This year's parts2clean aims to provide visitors with important knowledge and expertise to optimize parts cleaning in terms of cleanliness, cost-effectiveness, energy and resource efficiency. In addition, cleaning trends in high-tech and growth sectors such as the semiconductor industry and its suppliers, vacuum technology, aerospace, the defense industry, measurement and analysis technology, medical and pharmaceutical technology, sensor technology, new mobility and electronics will also be discussed at the trade fair.

The integrated p2c.expertforum, which is coordinated by the Fraunhofer Cleaning Division and the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT), has been an internationally sought-after source of knowledge for many years, primarily due to its character as a training event. The simultaneously translated (German ←→ English) presentations by high-ranking experts from industry and associations as well as from science and research are divided into a total of eleven subject areas over the three days. The agenda includes the basics of industrial cleaning processes and presentations on innovative products and services as well as highlights from current research. The individual sessions will focus on current developments in sustainability and the circular economy, applications, challenges and solutions in the high-purity sector and the testing and analysis of cleaned surfaces. Another topic area will deal with combined or extended processes and procedures such as deburring and cleaning in one process and the functionalization of surfaces through laser processing. The special show "Process Chain Technical Cleanliness", organized jointly with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), looks at cleaning together with the surrounding manufacturing processes. It gives visitors the opportunity to understand the path to clean components step by step and thus provides impetus for company-specific solutions.

One of the highlights of this year's supporting program is the presentation of the 4th FiT2clean Award on the last day of the trade fair. The FiT presents the innovation award, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, annually for outstanding achievements and new solutions to current challenges in industrial component cleaning. Before the winner of this year's award is chosen, all three finalists will present their developments.
