Cooling water, process water, water cycles: practical, workable solutions for everyday and non-everyday problems with bacteria, fungi/yeasts and algae in products, in production and in operations are in demand and are currently very popular.
A workinar of a non-everyday kind is therefore dedicated to these challenges on November 9, 2023 at the BWT training center in Schriesheim. It starts at 9.15 am with a welcome coffee.
The contents later are then:
- Identifying microbiological problems in water and cooling circuits and learning about solutions with biocides and biocide-free alternatives - a look into the world of industrial microbiology, chemical solutions to combat microbiological problems and contemporary biocide-free alternatives
- From the microbiology of human lunch digestion to the microbiome of every manufacturing company
- Minimizing bio-activity in water cycles - without canister or powder chemistry - with systems engineering approaches - a look at scaling, fouling + biofouling and discussion of case studies of solutions with ozone and UV.
A get-together to round off the event. The participation fee is 350 euros, which includes snacks and lunch. The workshop is organized by Bionik Mannheim.
