MedtecLIVE with T4M: Successful premiere

"The premiere of the newly formed MedtecLIVE with T4M was a complete success," summarizes Christopher Boss, Executive Director Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. The aim of merging the two medical technology trade fairs was to connect the important medical technology regions in southern Germany and create a trade fair with international appeal.

Over 430 exhibitors from 23 countries in Europe and around the world were on site in Stuttgart from May 3 to 5, 2022. Prof. Dr. Roland Fleck, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse GmbH, sees the good response to the trade fair as clear confirmation that he made the right decision to create an offering for the industry in southern Germany. Almost 200 exhibitors come from the region. A large focus of the medtech industry is located in southern Germany. A complete production line proved to be a magnet for visitors: in the center of the hall, the interaction of the individual exhibitors became vivid for visitors, the entire production process up to sterile packaging could be traced using examples, and regulatory requirements, e.g. for labeling, could be clearly explained. To this end, manufacturing companies from their area of expertise joined forces. This made the complexity of the production process visible.

Hereaeus Amloy Technologies' presence at the trade fair was a first. The manufacturer of amorphous alloys - new, biocompatible materials - which was only spun off from the Heraeus Group in 2019, can look back on good contacts: "Many people stopped by and we had good discussions. This is the first medical technology trade fair for Amloy, the first step towards presenting ourselves. And it paid off for us," says Dr. Hans Jürgen Wachter, Global Head at Heraeus Amloy Technologies. Karin Ferenbach, Head of Marketing at Klingel Medical Metal Group: "MedtecLIVE with T4M was a good start for us as Klingel Medical Group." The company sees itself as a full-service provider for high-quality and complex high-end components, instruments and implants for prevention, diagnosis, surgical procedures, therapy and rehabilitation.
