Boston-based Fortify has already made a name for itself on the American continent with its approach of using additive manufacturing to enable the production of advanced RF components. Through a current strategic partnership with the Swiss PCB manufacturer Varioprint, this RF design and manufacturing technology, known as RADIX, is now also coming to the European market.
"Together, we are able to redefine the possibilities in RF device manufacturing, particularly in RF communications and radar in the commercial and military markets," said Josh Martin, CEO and co-founder of Fortify. In particular, the partnership could make progress in fast-growing 5G applications and defense communications needs.
In particular, Varioprint sees the benefit of being able to provide highly innovative materials and applications to European customers innovating in the commercial and military communications space, as well as providing the relevant industries with access to state-of-the-art RF components with unmatched performance.
