Altix, the French supplier of photolithography and direct exposure units (contact exposure with mask/image material or glass mask) that emerged from Automa-Tech in 2009, has reported a significant order from China, where an FPC/PCB manufacturer wants to install a new production facility in Jiangxi Province.
In addition to production at its headquarters in Val-De-Reuil, Normandy, Altix has two branches in China. The current delivery includes panel and roll-to-roll solutions: the Acura Premium Series and Adix Roll-to-Roll, tailored to mass production and fine-line roll-to-roll applications. Altix has delivered a total of 600 of its systems to date.
The Acura Premium Series is an automatic exposure unit that works in double-sided mode with different light sources, including LEDs, for fine line resolution on dry film and liquid solder mask. Adix 'Roll to Roll' is a fully automatic direct exposure unit designed as a single-sided roll-to-roll exposure system for the finest line resolution, most accurate registration and high throughput. Adix SA is a UV-LED DMD system for direct exposure based on the new ALDS-Power4 + technology with four LEDs per photo head. This DI variant is designed for production with a high mix of low and medium volume jobs.
