Ten years ago now, Photocad, a manufacturer of SMD printing stencils based in Berlin-Marzahn, launched its innovative product line onto the market.
The aim of the development since 2015 has been to increase efficiency for the user by significantly reducing the parameters when ordering the print stencil for each specific production case, explained Managing Director Ulf Jepsen on the occasion of the anniversary. Requirements, quality and delivery dates have been redefined with separate product lines. The result is the three products 'Basic Plus' for standard applications, 'Advanced' for fine structures and higher demands on the printing process and 'Performance' for the most demanding applications and a high number of printing cycles. All product lines include services such as the stencil check, double-sided brushing, cleaning and a free archive bag. According to Ulf Jepsen, Photocad is particularly proud of its same-day delivery service for orders placed before 12 noon, now in its tenth year. All stencils are now also produced in a climate-neutral way.
With a production capacity of 30,000 stencils, security in the supply chain through production in Berlin, a corporate culture that values all ten employees and continuous digitalization with AI orientation, the company offers SMD stencil production according to modern standards. This is also evidenced by the high level of customer satisfaction.
