Britta Alfes, Managing Director of Lackwerke Peters, was elected to the board at this year's general meeting of Unternehmerschaft Chemie Niederrhein.
Alfes will represent the interests of the medium-sized chemical industry in the important regional employers' association and can contribute the specific circumstances and perspectives of the coatings and plastics industry.
After 16 years, Ralf Schwartz, Managing Director of Peters for many years, had previously handed over the chairmanship of this association to Norbert Mülders, Managing Director of Solvay in Rheinberg. The tasks of the company representatives include formulating and representing collective bargaining expectations and objectives at state and national level. The recruitment of junior staff at various training levels is also regularly on the agenda of the employers' association.
