BTU shows new selective soldering system at Nepcon China

BTU International, supplier of process equipment for electronics manufacturing, will be showcasing its new Valence 3508 selective soldering system, which is designed for high-mix/high-volume PCB production with high throughput, at Nepcon China (April 21-23) in Shanghai. In Asia, it is distributed by Hentec Industries.

Designed for continuous in-line operation with multiple stations for selective soldering, the system uses an electromagnetic pump. It can be programmed within a few minutes and can be configured and specified according to user requirements. With a three-layer process surface and stainless steel ball screws, the system increases processing productivity and reduces downtime due to maintenance.

BTU will also present its Pyramax convection reflow oven. The Pyramax product family is widely established in SMT reflow, semiconductor and LED packaging. The Pyramax reflow ovens enable lead-free processing. BTU's exclusive closed-loop convection provides precise heating and cooling, programmable heat dissipation and reduced nitrogen usage with the industry's lowest cost of ownership. With a choice of six, eight, ten and twelve zones for air or nitrogen flow, a maximum temperature of 350°C and numerous processing options, Pyramax reflow systems are versatile and cost-effective options. BTU International is a subsidiary of the Amtech Group with plants in North Billerica, Massachusetts, and Shanghai, with sales offices in the USA, Asia and Europe.
