Werner Wirth has increased his stake in Selka Süßbrich from 40% to 100%. Selka Süßbrich is based in Belgern, North Saxony, and specializes in cable assembly and component assembly. This makes the company an important pillar for the Werner Wirth Group in eastern Germany, from where the eastern industrial centers and the southern German market can be served well. Managing Director Alexander Süßbrich will be part of the group's management team and will continue to manage the site.
The family business, founded in 1994, has been working with Werner Wirth for more than 20 years. In 2020, the partners began working together strategically and aligning processes and equipment. Werner Wirth took over 40% of Selka Süßbrich at the time. The complete merger was the logical next step, which took place on January 1, 2025.
The Selka portfolio includes services such as cutting to length, crimping, assembly and wiring of electrical devices and assemblies as well as cable testing for all incoming and outgoing products. The company supplies customers from the mechanical engineering, lighting, heating and electrical engineering sectors throughout Germany.
Selka Süßbrich's portfolio complements the Cable AssemblyPlus range, with which Werner Wirth offers its customers comprehensive product engineering and accompanies their cabling concepts from prototype to series production. "We are delighted about this milestone in our development and will increasingly contribute our expertise in the field of complex cable systems and electromechanical assemblies to the group of companies in the future," says Managing Director Alexander Süßbrich. Selka Süßbrich will thus act as a competence center for this sub-area and cover the small and medium-sized series segment for Werner Wirth in the future.
