Dietmar Baar was not only the point of contact for members and those seeking advice when it came to technical documentation/editing at the office of the German Association for Design, PCB and Electronics Manufacturing (FED).
He also always demonstrated a keen understanding of language when it came to non-technical content, which is also reflected in his farewell e-mail: Quite in the style of a usual announcement about an upcoming career change, he wrote that he wanted to take on a new challenge from March 1: "I will try to enjoy something quite precious - the time, in my retirement. I'm really looking forward to that." Baar worked for almost 50 years, the last 12 of which he spent at the FED. The PLUS editorial team wishes him every success in achieving his next goals.
