New CEO of Keysight Technologies

New CEO of Keysight Technologies

Satish Dhanasekaran, currently Chief Operating Officer of Keysight Technologies, will become President and CEO of the company as of May 1, 2022. He will also join the Board of Directors. His predecessor, Ron Nersesian, will retire after a successful 30-year career with the company and his predecessors, but will remain with Keysight Technologies as Executive Chairman of the Board.

Nersesian was at the helm of the company when Agilent Technologies decided to spin off Keysight in 2013. The independent publicly traded company's strategy to focus on software-centric solutions is largely due to him, as is its differentiated solutions portfolio through acquisitions and increased R&D investment, resulting in strength and consistency.

Successor Dhanasekaran began his career at Keysight in 2006 and has been COO since 2020. Previously, he led the Communications Solutions Group. This largest business segment of the company comprises wireless and wired communications and is aimed at customers in the aerospace, defense and government sectors, among others. At the same time, Dhanasekaran built Keysight's leadership position in 5G. Keysight achieved a turnover of 4.9 billion US dollars in the 2021 financial year with all its business areas.
