First ASIM user conference on simulation in production and logistics

The first ASIM user conference will take place on September 14 and 15 at FAU in Erlangen. It offers the opportunity to discuss the use and challenges of simulation in the daily industrial environment with simulation experts, innovative technology providers and scientists.

The focus of the conference is on the exchange of ideas and the application of methods and tools in practice. An accompanying exhibition of products, software systems and services will take place alongside the presentations. Highlights include a visit to the Siemens equipment factory in Erlangen, where you can gain an insight into the digital factory, and the two keynote speeches:

  • Quantum Computing in Simulation - The Future Differentiator of Manufacturing in Germany (by Dr.-Ing. Michael Scholz, Tilmann Moritz Schwenzow, Siemens
  • The metaverse: game changer or flash in the pan? By Prof. Dr. Jens Grubert, Coburg University of Applied Sciences

Another highlight will be the evening event on Wednesday at the Zukunftsmuseum Nuremberg with a guided tour and discussion points on the technology of the future. Further information including the complete program can be found on the homepage of the organizer FAPS-IPC.
