Hilpert electronics AG has been a sales partner for Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH in Switzerland since the beginning of the year. The cooperation covers the production equipment for the electronics industry of the manufacturer from Blaubeuren.
For Hilpert, the cooperation with Rehm means a massive restructuring of the product portfolio. "In addition to the new products for us in the areas of conformal coating, drying and curing, we are replacing the entire product range in the areas of convection and vapor phase soldering," says AG Managing Director Raphael Burkart. The conversion will be carried out in stages in the first quarter of 2022. "Our sales department must gradually familiarize itself with the new products."
Michael Hanke, General Sales Manager at Rehm, adds: "We were looking for a long-term partner with whom we could build something in Switzerland. This decision was influenced not only by Hilpert's sales strength, but also by its market presence and communication. Furthermore, the existing product and brand portfolio, which includes market leaders such as ASM, Viscom and Nutek, spoke in favor of Raphael Burkart and his team."
Both managers are planning comprehensive marketing measures for the first half of the year in order to introduce the new partnership to the Swiss market in a stable manner. "Switzerland is an important market for us, as it develops and produces outstanding electronic products," explains Hanke. "I am sure that the Hilpert/Rehm partnership will deliver a lot of added value for Swiss manufacturers," adds Burkart.
