Phytec Messtechnik, a supplier of single-board computers and solutions for the capital goods industry, is setting standards in commercial construction. The 'PHYTEC Technology Campus' was built ecologically and sustainably.
In a construction period of four years, the globally active company has succeeded in building a commercial building that not only complies with the Kfw 55 standard, but also completely dispenses with fossil fuels. Energy-efficient houses built to the Kfw 55 standard require only 55% of the energy of a conventional new building.
In order to actively shape the change towards climate neutrality, space utilization concepts, ventilation, heating and cooling concepts as well as ecological construction methods and building materials were selected and planned and built according to the findings of architectural psychology. The site area of 30,000m2 currently comprises a building complex with 10,000 m2 of office and production space for 370 employees and, in line with the company's growth targets, offers space for a second construction phase with capacity for a total of 1,000 employees.
