The development and manufacturing service provider Kortec Industrieelektronik from Sinsheim relies on a high-performance photovoltaic system on the roof of the company building, in addition to many other environmental protection measures. This system, which has an output of 142.8 kWp, enables the company to generate 52% of its total energy requirements itself over the year.
The system is particularly effective in the summer months in combination with the air conditioning system installed in the production hall. As part of Kortec's environmental management measures, two charging points (Type 2, 11kW each) have also been installed so far, enabling customers and employees to charge their electric vehicles with solar power.
