Ralf Hellwig has been appointed Managing Director DACH at RS Components. The position is new: the Electrocomponents plc brand considers the German-speaking market as a whole to be an important growth region and has therefore aligned the organization with DACH management.
To this end, the distributor has already made considerable investments in the region, including the construction of a new head office in Frankfurt and investments in the expansion of the distribution center in Bad Hersfeld. Hellwig brings with him extensive experience from the European B2B distribution landscape. He was previously employed by SIG GmbH - in the position of Managing Director. Prior to that, Hellwig worked at Rubix for 14 years, most recently as Managing Director for the DACH region and member of the Executive Board.
