At the end of July 2025, Fuji Europe heralded the start of construction for an expansion at the company site in Kelsterbach. A sustainable building is to be built on an additional usable area of around 2,370 square meters, combining storage capacity, modern office and meeting rooms as well as repair and service areas under one roof.
According to Managing Director Stefan Janssen, the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony not only marks the start of a construction project, but also has a symbolic character: "In economically challenging times for the industry, we are consciously setting an example. We are investing in the future - in our customers, in Europe as a location and in our own further development." The modern company building will combine various functions in one place. The aim of the investment is to further optimize processes along the supply chain and increase the speed of response to customer requirements.
The building, which will be constructed in timber by 2026, is to be operated entirely without fossil fuels and instead rely on modern heat pumps. The roof is to be greened and equipped with large areas of photovoltaics. The architecture of the new part of the building is based on the existing building and is intended to blend harmoniously into the Kelsterbach townscape.
According to Stefan Janssen, the Japanese parent company in Japan and the European subsidiary are united behind the investment. "Europe remains a key market for us, with high demands and great potential," emphasizes Janssen. "The extension is an expression of our clear commitment to Germany as a business location."
