Leiton, the Berlin-based specialist for PCB solutions, is continuing its international expansion: after almost two decades of presence in Germany and China, the company is opening another branch in Bangalore, India. With the new location, Leiton aims to create additional capacity for greater delivery reliability, technological diversity and international customer orientation.
"India offers an impressive talent pool," explains Marcus Knopp, Managing Director of Leiton. "Within a very short space of time, we have built up a highly motivated team of six excellently trained engineers." Leiton was impressed by the enthusiasm and openness of these young professionals: "Their technical expertise and innovative spirit enrich our entire company." Many of the team members have established contacts with renowned high-tech PCB manufacturers from previous jobs - including specialized suppliers for HDI and high-layer boards with certifications for military and aerospace applications. According to Markus Knopp, these direct connections give Leiton immediate access to powerful new partners, which represents a significant strategic gain for the company and its customers.
By expanding to India, Leiton is strengthening its own international supplier base and proactively adapting to shorter innovation cycles and growing demands on global supply chains. "Our customers in Germany and Europe will benefit directly from the new dynamism and expanded expertise that we are bringing in from Bangalore," emphasizes Knopp. The new branch is part of the long-term corporate strategy of combining technological expertise, high quality standards and partnership-based service globally and will not serve as a replacement, but as a powerful addition to the existing network.
