On April 23, NCAB Group signed an agreement to acquire 100% of B&B Leiterplattenservice GmbH (B&B).
B&B, based in Mittweida, west of Dresden, was founded in 1996 and used to produce printed circuit boards in Germany. The production facility was closed in 2022 and another business division was sold. Today, procurement is mainly carried out from China and a partner in Europe. The company's business model is similar to that of NCAB with 25 employees, 20 of whom are based in Mittweida in Germany and five in China. B&B's customers are mainly from the industrial and energy sectors in Germany, but also in Italy.
The transaction is expected to close in early May and the sellers will remain during a transition period to ensure a smooth integration. Synergies from the acquisition are expected by NCAB in the areas of suppliers, payment terms and logistics and will further strengthen the company's position in the German market. According to NCAB, the purchase price amounts to SEK 135 million (approx. €12.3 million) with a possible further earnout of a maximum of SEK 28 million (approx. €2.5 million).
