productronica China 2021 will maintain its presence as an in-person event and its originally planned date of March 17 to 19. As an international trade fair for electronics development and production, it represents the entire industrial value chain at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). It has been one of the most important events in Asia since 2002. As in previous years, other events such as Laser World of Photonics China, Vision China and Semicon China will be held in parallel and at the same time.
Separate from this event, productronica South China will run from October 28 to 30, 2021 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. This division takes into account the growing importance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao industrial region in southern China as part of the Chinese industrialization offensive.
Another new development of the exhibitions organized by Messe München on the Chinese market is the separation of productronica China and electronica China. This should give exhibitors more space and help to broaden the exhibition portfolio.
electronica China 2021 is now scheduled to take place from April 14 to 16, 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. It will run with its usual range of exhibitors as a trade fair for electronic components, assembly and production technologies, photonics, etc.
Following the same logic as the geographical division of productronic China, electronica South China will be held later in the year, from 3 to 5 November 2021, separately from electronica China at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.
