Siemens Digital Industries Software presents a new approach to verifying integrated circuits with the Questa One software package.
AI-supported automation, predictive analytics and workflow connectivity are designed to accelerate verification cycles and reduce manual work steps. The increased complexity of 3D ICs, chiplet-based systems and software-based architectures is addressed in order to reduce test cycles from up to 24 hours to less than a minute. Technical innovations include protocol-driven coverage analysis, which is 50 times faster than previous testbenches, eight times faster DFT simulations and protocol-driven debugging. Early adopters of the verification software, including Arm, MediaTek, Microsoft and Rambus, have confirmed efficiency gains and better resource utilization. The market launch of Questa One is planned from June 2025.
