As part of their career and study orientation, a group of mechanical engineering students from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences visited the plant engineering company TSK Schill in Gäufelden-Nebringen, Baden-Württemberg. The students were given qualified insights into the company's tasks, activities and processes.
The young mechanical engineering students learned how a printed circuit board is made, what plastic machine construction is all about and why it is necessary for wet chemical applications. The Pforzheim students also learned about the special knowledge, skills and qualifications that specialists must have to meet the requirements of the WHG (Water Resources Act).
Employees from the company's engineering department discussed in-depth fluid technologies and specifications for systems with the students, as well as the extent to which digitalization and simulations support the development process of a machine.
