Productronica China, the first trade fair in Asia since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, took place at the beginning of July. To everyone's surprise, the trade fair was surprisingly well attended and the aisles in the halls were full of interested trade fair visitors, despite strict hygiene regulations. Among the numerous exhibitors from near and far was Rehm Thermal Systems. The manufacturer of thermal system solutions from Blaubeuren-Seißen presented several systems from its product portfolio.
Great interest in the Vision seriesAsuccessful trade fair appearance lies behind Rehm Thermal Systems: Productronica China took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai at the beginning of July. Although every visitor had to wear a mask to gain access to the exhibition grounds, more visitors than expected came to this trade fair, which was one of the first to take place during the first acute phase of the corona pandemic.
Yu Wang, Rehm Sales Manager of the East and North China regions, emphasized that in the current global environment, intelligent manufacturing is essential for the future of electronics manufacturing. The innovative ViCON software from Rehm corresponds exactly to this development trend and is aimed at the needs of intelligent manufacturing. The software has been continuously expanded since its market launch and is now available for almost the entire range of Rehm systems. These systems include the VisionXP+ Vac vacuum reflow soldering system and the ProtectoXC coating system, which was also presented at Productronica China.
The focus of Rehm Thermal Systems' trade fair appearance this year was primarily on the new CondensoXS smart, which attracted the interest of many visitors. The CondensoXS smart vapor phase soldering system impresses with a new chamber design and flexibility across the board. The new chamber design with a vertically opening and closing chamber ensures optimum hermetic sealing and therefore reliable and reproducible results. The CondensoXS smart can be configured flexibly. Both manual and automatic loading and unloading concepts are available. Flexible cooling options, vacuum and injection principle also ensure reliable processes for this model in a semi-automated production environment with medium production volumes.
The ProtectoXC, which was also presented at Productronica China and is particularly suitable for small and medium batch sizes, combines precise coating with perfect protection for the assemblies. When developing the ProtectoXC, care was taken to ensure that the system has a modern look, is intuitive to operate and at the same time offers reliable protection for high-quality PCBs. The VisionXP+ Vac convection soldering system impresses with energy-saving EC motors, an optional vacuum chamber to reduce voids and various options for gentle cooling of the assemblies.
