Federal Minister of Labor and Member of the Bundestag Hubertus Heil is campaigning for his constituency of Peine/Gifhorn in the run-up to the Bundestag elections. He is visiting Galvanotechnik Kessel GmbH & Co KG in Vechelde for the second time since last summer.
The talks with Managing Partner Marc Schreckenberg, dual industrial management student Nico Schreckenberg and member of the management team Jessica Schnäker on December 17 focused on reducing bureaucracy for SMEs, lowering the industrial electricity price and promoting PV systems and storage options. "The energy transition must go hand in hand with easing the burden on companies. Projects such as the planned PV system at Galvanotechnik Kessel are essential for a sustainable economy and show how companies can contribute to the energy transition. At the same time, we need to reduce the bureaucratic burden for such projects," emphasized Heil in the interview.
