On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, Natascha Fontanella, Managing Director of BÜFA Chemicals, and Judith le Fèvre and Richard Bruins, co-owners of Ferr-Tech from Meppel in the Netherlands, made their cooperation official with the signing of the contract. BÜFA Chemicals is the official distributor of the new oxidizing agent FerSol® for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The innovative product is based on the world's most effective oxidizing agent for water treatment - Ferrat-VI. In the past, it was not possible to produce ferrate VI in a stable and sustainable way. The start-up Ferr-Tech was the first company to develop a production process that now makes this possible.
Working together for a sustainable circular economy
FerSol® purifies residual water in such a way that manufacturing companies can largely reuse it in their processes. The innovative product therefore supports a sustainable water cycle in industrial processes. Companies in various industries can work more ecologically and energy-efficiently. The sustainable cycle reduces wastewater costs; companies also save on chemicals and energy as the water can be purified at lower temperatures. In contrast to the chemicals commonly used for water treatment, the patented FerSol® is environmentally friendly while maintaining the same level of effectiveness. Independent, official tests have confirmed that FerSol® has no harmful effects on human health or the environment.
