In the election for "Partner of the PVH", the specialist retailers from the hardware retail sector honored the Duisburg-based company Caramba: After 2018, Caramba, as a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, took a convincing third place in the "Chemical Products" category for the 2nd time. The abbreviation in the name of the "Partner of the PVH" award stands for the production liaison trade, which represents the specialist trade between production companies.
Andreas Krüger, Key Account Manager, is delighted with the award, which was presented digitally for the first time on March 19. "We attach great importance to good cooperation with specialist retailers and work together to develop individual solutions so that each retailer can address their customers in a target group-specific manner."
Many product groups are of great importance to specialist retailers, which is why the Tools Working Group of the Central Association of the Hardware Trade called on the industry for the 21st time at the beginning of the year to rate its key suppliers in the areas of hand tools, precision tools, factory equipment, fastening technology, occupational safety, grinding/cutting tools, measuring tools and chemical products. The respondents rated the companies according to six criteria: retailer loyalty, realized margin/market cultivation, product innovation, sales support, data and digitalization quality and complaints handling.
