Castolin Eutectic, expert in industrial productivity through welding, brazing and coating technologies, has recently announced the launch of its latest range of powerful all-in-one brazing and cutting machines: OHF 4.0, 6.0, 9.0 and 12.0.
With one to four power connections, output ranges from 4 kW/h to 12 kW/h to meet the needs of all types of on-site soldering jobs, from massive parts in the HVAC industry to fine, delicate components in jewelry and precious metals processing. In addition to being used for brazing and heating in the HVAC industry, automotive, rail, aerospace, electrical equipment, jewelry and art, this flame can also be used for cutting without fumes.
The OHF gas generators produce endless clean and powerful fuel from hydrogen and oxygen. These electrolyzers work with an abundant and easy to extract and store source: Water. The temperatures of the resulting flame are over 2700ºC, allowing brazing in a wide range of industrial applications without the need to adapt processes and products. The decarburized flame obtained offers a number of environmental and safety benefits, such as the absence of dangerous UV rays and the reduction of noise emitted by the flame. The range of OHF appliances allows working with gas supply rates from 0 to 3200 liters/h and combines productivity, safety and quality for people and the environment.
The revolutionary OHF appliances offer a range of benefits for soldering professionals, including
- on-demand gas generation - no need for storage in pressurized gas cylinders or harmful fume extraction
- economical - flame is generated from water
- efficient and fast soldering - lightweight torch and single hose for easy movement
- Quiet - reduces health and safety risks and environmental impact
- environmentally friendly - no fossil fuels required to produce a flame
- Versatile - the devices are mobile and can be used anywhere
Reduces the carbon footprint of soldering
Using cutting-edge dyomix® technology, the OHF converts water into gas to produce a clean, high-temperature hydrogen flame, meaning there is no need to buy or store gas cylinders. This pioneering process, which has been continuously developed since 2009, also reduces the environmental impact - a major factor in thecarbon footprint of any business today.
Flexibility and mobility are key to the convenience of these mobile soldering units: the wheeled unit can be easily transported from one location to another. It only requires an electrical connection to operate. Safety is also paramount: each machine has a safety system with flashback arrestor, piezoelectric ignition and automatic leak testing.
Another feature of Castolin's OHF hydrogen soldering machines is their ability to save and record previous settings when the machine is switched off, saving valuable time. Each machine also monitors production activity for improved performance. The machines are easy to use and Castolin Eutectic provides training to ensure on-site installation, maintenance and user onboarding, along with a 2 4-month warranty.
