The RUD chain in special grade RTB from RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH in Aalen is a chain that can withstand the harsh environmental conditions of galvanizing, painting and degreasing. Specially developed for hot-dip galvanizing plants and electroplating shops, the case-hardened and phosphated surface of the round steel chain ensures high wear resistance.
The special steel quality makes the chain robust and resistant to hydrogen embrittlement and therefore particularly durable. Greater robustness means greater system reliability and less downtime. The RUD chain is suitable for use in all areas of galvanizing plants: Degreasing, pickling, fluxing and galvanizing.

KG. The chains are suitable for motor-driven hoists in electroplating and also withstand alkaline or acidic degreasing agents during degreasing. The chains are also unaffected by the acid emissions that occur during pickling. Neither do the emissions of flux additives such as zinc chloride (ZnCl2) and ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) during fluxing. During galvanizing, the RUD chains are temperature-resistant even at high ambient temperatures.
