The materials specialist Neue Materialien Bayreuth GmbH (NMB) becomes a member of the supporting association Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid e.V. This formal partnership strengthens the existing successful exchange. The Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid (KIMW) is a network with over 400 members from various sectors of the plastics industry.
Tailor-made collaborations between small and medium-sized companies are created here in order to jointly drive forward innovations in research and development projects. The focus is on surface processes, modification of tool and component surfaces as well as analysis and testing technology.
The NMB has been involved in the network activities of the Plastics Institute for several years and contributes its expertise in foam injection molding and surface finishing with polyurethane. Membership of the KIMW's supporting association will strengthen this partnership in the future. Dr. Thomas Neumeyer, Head of the Plastics Division at NMB, emphasizes the synergies and new opportunities created by the cooperation. Joint funding projects are already being planned.
