DENIOS donates fire simulation system to the Bad Oeynhausen fire department

In the event of a fire, every move of the fire department must be perfect and implemented with great routine. This requires regular drills, for which the emergency services in Bad Oeynhausen now have a very special opportunity. DENIOS AG, an expert in corporate environmental protection and occupational safety headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, is donating a fire simulation system to the Bad Oeynhausen fire department. With this donation, the world market leader in industrial environmental protection and occupational safety would like to show its solidarity with the region and express its thanks for the commitment and good cooperation of the emergency services in recent years.

The walk-in and fire-resistant fire simulation system has so far been used for training and practice purposes in the DENIOS Academy as part of the training and further education program, e.g. with seminars for "fire safety officers" and "fire safety assistants". Real fire situations can be created with the help of a gas supply, two burners and a fog machine. An integrated glass front makes it possible to follow and observe various fire and extinguishing scenarios.

The Bad Oeynhausen fire department has actively supported the DENIOS Academy's training courses for many years, e.g. by providing premises or by advising DENIOS experts.

DENIOS would now like to express its sincere thanks with this fire simulation system, which the fire department would like to use for training and practice purposes for the youth fire department, the operational department of the fire-fighting groups, the watch department of the fire station, as well as for fire safety assistant training.

"This donation from Denios is a real benefit for our fire department," says Mayor Lars Bökenkröger at the handover of the fire simulation container. "It will allow the fire department's emergency services to practice under realistic conditions and thus maintain and expand the fire brigade's operational capability at an already high level." But it's not just the "big guys" who will benefit. "The children's fire department "Feuerdrachen" and the youth fire department can also use the container," adds Dennis Theiling from the main fire station. "This gives the junior firefighters in particular the opportunity to come into contact with the element of fire."

"We are delighted to be able to support the important work of the fire department in Bad Oeynhausen. At the same time, we ensure that the fire simulation system is optimally utilized when both the fire department and the participants of the DENIOS Academy can train in it," says Rainer Lange-Hitzbleck, member of the DENIOS management team.
