The European Commission approved the energy cost containment program on 14 July. Companies whose electricity and gas prices have more than doubled from 2021 to 2022, belong to an energy-intensive and trade-intensive sector in accordance with the Climate, Environment and Energy Aid Guidelines (KUEBLL) and provide evidence of at least 3% energy procurement costs can now claim a grant of between 30% and 70% of the additional costs from BAFA. The application deadline is August 31 of this year.
