First joint appearance under the technotrans umbrella brand: This year's KUTENO trade fair appearance of gwk Gesellschaft Wärme Kältetechnik mbH and Reisner Cooling Solutions GmbH is all about the ongoing merger of the technotrans companies. At the regional trade fair for the plastics industry in Rheda-Wiedenbrück from September 7 to 9, the two companies will present their highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems for a temperature range from -80 to +400 degrees Celsius under the technotrans umbrella brand for the first time. The focus will be on the compact temperature control units from the high.line and eco.line product lines. These sustainable thermal management solutions form the basis forCO2-neutral production in the plastics, metal and rubber industries.
"Our trade fair appearance this year is something special. Not only because we can finally welcome customers, partners and interested parties in person again. But also because we are presenting ourselves together with our colleagues from Reisner as a strong unit under the technotrans umbrella for the first time," says Nicolai Küls, Managing Director of gwk. The merger of the two technotrans companies is already in full swing: gwk is scheduled to be renamed technotrans solutions GmbH on October 1, 2021. The Reisner division will join the new company at the beginning of 2022. Combining the strengths of gwk and Reisner will create an even more powerful competence center for the target markets of the plastics, rubber and metal processing industries.
Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems
Atthe regional trade fair KUTENO, gwk and Reisner will present themselves together for the first time under the umbrella brand technotrans, where visitors can expect particularly energy-efficient and sustainable system solutions as well as systems for a wide temperature range from -80 to +400 degrees Celsius. Special features include the use of climate-friendly refrigerants with a low global warming potential (GWP) and the use of highly efficient components and control strategies. The appliance versions on show are currently unique on the market in terms of features and efficiency. "Due to the high CO2 savings effects, state subsidies are available for investments in these sustainable technologies. We will be happy to inform interested parties about the funding opportunities for our temperature control solutions at our trade fair stand," emphasizes Küls.
The highlight of the stand will be the compact products in the high.line and eco.line ranges. The systems are a combination of highly efficient temperature control units and water distributors with reliable and low-maintenance (high.line) or maintenance-free (eco.line) flow measurement. The high.line series is particularly impressive due to its high level of user-friendliness: At the trade fair, visitors can get an impression of the adaptive 7-inch Logotherm operating concept with multi-touch functions. The eco.line is equipped with non-contact, maintenance-free ultrasonic flow measurement and the pump efficiency module (PEM), consisting of highly efficient centrifugal pump technology, frequency inverter and innovative control intelligence.
Ralf Radke, Head of Business Development at gwk, emphasizes: "This type of control with speed control is playing an increasingly important role in practice, as the topic of energy efficiency is becoming more and more important in all industries. gwk, or technotrans in the future, is using this technology across the board as standard equipment in the eco.line series. With activated control mode, energy cost reductions of more than 90 percent are not uncommon in practice. In view of these energy savings in combination with the funding opportunities, the purchase of the devices usually pays for itself in a very short time.
