Fraunhofer Vision presents surface inspection at Control

The Fraunhofer Vision division, which is part of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, will be showcasing a range of interesting measurement technologies for surfaces at the Control quality management trade fair from May 9-12 in Stuttgart. At stand 7301 in hall 7, the Fraunhofer Institute for Physical Measurement Techniques IPM from Freiburg will be presenting an inline inspection of large surfaces with regard to cleanliness and coating.

In addition, the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS from Sankt Augustin will be presenting an intelligent quality control system for reflective surfaces. The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM in Kaiserslautern will present an inline surface inspection system for testing metal parts, while the inspection of reflective surfaces using deflectometry will be shown by the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB in Karlsruhe. In the field of non-destructive testing, a terahertz coating thickness measurement system for industrial environments will also be on display, developed by the Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern.
