BIA Kunststoff- und Galvanotechnik GmbH & Co KG is setting the course for the future with two new Managing Directors from October 2025. Dr. Felix Heinzler (41), Head of Development and Process Technology for eleven years, and Jonas Püttbach (31), most recently Plant Manager in Mexico, form the new management team. Owner Jörg Püttbach speaks of an "important signal both internally and externally": the appointment of his son Jonas and Dr. Heinzler marks the start of a generational change. Heinzler will also take over purchasing, sales and project management.
Dr. Heinzler, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, believes that BIA is well positioned despite the difficult conditions and also wants to take advantage of opportunities outside the automotive industry. Jonas Püttbach will be responsible for production in Solingen and the plants abroad. He focuses on automation and brings experience from Mexico and Slovakia. Both managers emphasize that BIA must assert itself in the automotive sector and at the same time open up new business areas. "Our team makes the difference," Heinzler and Püttbach say in unison. The BIA Group, headquartered in Solingen, also operates sites in Slovakia, Mexico and China.
