Helmut Fischer, a measurement technology expert from Sindelfingen who is well known in the electroplating and surface technology sector, has taken over the business operations of the Saarbrücken-based measurement technology specialist Phototherm Dr. Petry GmbH, which is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings. Michael J.W. Blank, the company's insolvency administrator, expressed his satisfaction with the completed transaction.
Dr. Martin Leibfritz, Managing Director of Helmut Fischer GmbH, commented: "We see great advantages in Phototherm's technology and in the expertise of our new colleagues, who bring with them extensive experience in a wide range of different applications." Potential synergies should enable noticeable growth for the insolvent company's products and systems, particularly in international sales. "We can now look clearly to the future again," said a delighted Berndt Kautter, until recently Managing Director of Phototherm Dr. Petry GmbH. "After a dynamic process, we can present Helmut Fischer GmbH as an investor who has clearly recognized Phototherm's potential in the field of coating thickness measurement," added Sebastian Schmitt, who was responsible for the investor process on behalf of a consulting firm.
