Messe München is further expanding its network of environmental technology trade fairs in China: Starting this year, it will be represented by a third IFAT event in the Middle Kingdom. As a solution platform for the western China region, IE expo Chengdu will present itself to the industry for the first time from June 27 to 29, 2019 in the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu, a city with a population of 15 million. For Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of Messe München, the dynamics of the Chinese environmental market make it necessary to expand the IFAT network. The new IE expo Chengdu will be organized in a regional
regional format. The exhibition portfolio of the trade fair and the topics of the accompanying conference are adapted to the needs of the western provinces. The Chengdu location has a key function as a gateway to the west of the People's Republic in geographical, economic and political terms.
