This year marks the 28th anniversary of the Galvano Master course at the Semper School of Biology, Chemistry and Technology in Nuremberg. It was held for the first time in 1996, initiated by Norbert Distelrath, who continues to put his heart and soul into it.
Today, under the umbrella of the Semper Schools and the management of Dr. Bösch, the master craftsman candidates learn with modern classroom equipment. This year, particularly high-quality parts were presented to the master craftsman examination committee of the Nuremberg Chamber of Crafts. The participants presented frame techniques that had been tried and tested for a long time in advance for the production of custom hard chrome-plated components as well as covering techniques for coating the plate with dyes that had been determined in many preliminary tests. The skills taught in the preparatory course at Semper Schools, such as statistical test planning, were successfully applied here.
