Dr. Katharina Gensowski, who recently joined her father Udo Gensowski in managing the family business OTH Hagen, is now also a new board member of the Competence Network for Surface Technology netzwerk-surface.net.
The materials scientist with a doctorate from TU Ilmenau will support the association on a voluntary basis alongside the other board members Dr. Katharina Kölsch and Dr. Ulrich Jüptner. The decision was made on March 7 at the general meeting in Solingen. At the same time, Dr. Ulrich Irle ended his eleven-year commitment to the board. Netwerk-surface.net is committed to a consistent entrepreneurial attitude and approach. The three members of the board and the management must themselves work in or manage manufacturing and processing trades. The board meets every 6-8 weeks to discuss content and strategic issues. The association's funds are used for the benefit of the member companies.
