The BENSELER Group has founded a new subsidiary: BENSELER Polska Sp. z o.o., based in the Polish district town of Strzelce Opolskie. The portfolio at this new location includes thermal deburring (TEM) and industrial parts cleaning.
The new BENSELER subsidiary was founded in mid-2021, and in October of the same year the company moved into the new location with its 1,000 m² production hall. The surface specialists on site began processing the first orders for customers, mainly from the automotive industry, in November. "Of course, our systems for thermal deburring and industrial parts cleaning are also available for customer orders from other industrial sectors such as mechanical engineering and medical technology," assures Maciej Grabowski, who is Managing Director of BENSELER Polska together with Silvio Peschke.
With the new subsidiary, the BENSELER Group is once again fulfilling its own company claim of proverbial proximity to the customer. "Until now, we had served our customers based in Poland from the Frankenberg site - which was not a sustainable solution in the long term," says Silvio Peschke. For this reason, the surface specialists began their initial market surveys and the search for a suitable location back in 2016.
The experience of the past two years also reinforced the group's decision: "We have seen how vulnerable supply chains can be in terms of material and raw material management," says Peschke. "Now the distances are short, both for our customers and for our own suppliers and cooperation partners. As a result, we have a largely constant flow of materials and goods, which in turn is one of the foundations for our consistently high quality in production and processing." The efficient and value-enhancing integration of our own services into our customers' production chains is an important component of BENSELER's corporate strategy.
