SurfaceTechnology Germany, the international trade fair for surface technology in Stuttgart, will take place from May 5 to 7 in 2026, one month earlier than originally planned.
By bringing the date forward, the trade fair will run parallel to MedtecLIVE and GrindingHub. This enables visitors to experience three trade fairs in one day. In addition, the time gap to the American SUR/FIN in June will be extended, which will benefit both exhibitors and visitors. Christoph Nowak, Project Manager of SurfaceTechnology Germany at Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover, explains: "The current challenges facing the industry, in particular technological upheavals in the areas of mobility, the energy industry, sustainability and information technology, require constant adaptation and realignment. SurfaceTechnology GERMANY offers an ideal platform for knowledge transfer, networking and innovative solutions with its diverse range of exhibitors and established specialist forum. The thematic synergies with the trade fairs taking place in parallel create additional added value for exhibitors and visitors. Since the pandemic, we have observed an increased use of cross-visits between parallel trade fairs in neighboring halls. In addition, the period until the summer vacations has been extended, which has a positive effect on post-fair business."
