Aucos AG has made a personnel realignment: Florian Wimmenauer and Dr. Pascal Schug have taken over the management of the Executive Board as of October 28, 2024. Peter Kessels and Andreas Schuhmacher, who led the company as board members for ten years, will remain associated with Aucos as Senior Consultants.
Florian Wimmenauer, an expert in artificial intelligence and software, is moving from his previous position as Head of Research & Development to the Management Board. Wimmenauer has already supported strategic development projects in his previous role. Aucos is gaining a new leader in Dr. Pascal Schug. After four years as Managing Director of the Düring Group, he is returning to Aachen to take on a new role at Aucos. He previously worked for the Possehl Group in Lübeck and Augsburg in the SME investments division until 2024. In addition to his technical background, he brings business expertise and international experience. "As a company, Aucos has a solid basis for developing sustainable solutions in automation technology together with partners and customers," says Dr. Schug. Wimmenauer will assume responsibility for technical matters on the Management Board, while Dr. Schug will be responsible for commercial and sales matters. With this structure, Aucos intends to further consolidate its position in the automation industry.
