Henning Recknagel (51) took over as Head of Quality Management at the BIA Group on February 1. The graduate mechanical engineer can look back on over 25 years of experience in quality management, 21 of which he spent at automotive supplier Johnson Controls. Most recently, Recknagel was responsible for the overall quality management of the Interior division in the Europe and South Africa region.
"Thanks to his professional experience, Henning Recknagel naturally knows the international automotive business very well," says BIA Managing Director Jörg Püttbach, delighted with the expertise he has gained within the Group. For Recknagel, too, the move from a listed major corporation to an owner-managed family business is a sensible decision: "I am delighted to remain in the international automotive business, but to be able to exert greater influence on the operational and strategic direction of the company. This is only possible with a healthy, growing medium-sized company," emphasizes Recknagel.
