Although parts2clean has reported a strong trade fair result in 2023, it will switch to a biennial event cycle in the odd-numbered calendar years. This was decided by the organizers, Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover, together with the trade association Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung e. V. (FiT), the trade fair advisory board and the exhibiting companies.
At the same time, a new trade fair for industrial parts cleaning has been developed with Parts Finishing, which will take place for the first time in Karlsruhe on November 13 and 14. The new format focuses holistically on the production steps of deburring, parts cleaning and surface finishing - from standalone processes to networked production lines.
"We have already discussed the decision to change parts2clean to a biennial format very intensively with the exhibiting companies and our partners," said Christoph Nowak, Project Manager of parts2clean at Deutsche Messe, following the decision. "Following the positive outcome of the trade fair in 2023, our aim is to drive forward the expansion of the leading trade fair character of parts2clean and thus strengthen the trade fair as a brand in the long term," he added.
The next "parts2clean" trade fair will be held in Stuttgart from October 7 to 9, 2025
The next edition of the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning is scheduled to take place in Stuttgart from October 7 to 9, 2025. Nowak: "We are organizing the event for the industry and together with the industry. The biennial cycle, which will apply with immediate effect, pays off, as the companies confirmed to us in an exhibitor survey during parts2clean 2023 that both the two-year innovation cycle and the changed travel behavior of visitors require this new orientation."
"Parts Finishing" is from November 13-14 in Karlsruhe
Hartmut Herdin, Managing Director of the private trade fair organizer fairXperts GmbH & Co. K, which brought the competing trade fair Parts Finishing to life, explains the decision for the new trade fair with the fact that industrial production has to meet continuously increasing demands in terms of component quality, cost-effectiveness and sustainability. "This leads to a constantly growing need for information and knowledge in manufacturing companies. Trade fairs play an important role in this. However, to date, the focus of exhibitions has usually been limited to individual production steps, meaning that several visits to trade fairs are required to obtain comprehensive information, which is becoming increasingly difficult in times of staff shortages and cost efficiency," he said, adding: "We have developed Parts Finishing to offer both suppliers and users of solutions for deburring, component cleaning and surface finishing an optimal platform." The trade fair presents itself as leaner, shorter and more cost-effective than conventional trade fairs. It also aims to be more attractive and efficient.
