The specialty chemicals company Perstorp, which develops solutions for resins and coatings, among other things, has been awarded a gold medal for 2023 by the sustainability rating agency EcoVadis.
This puts Perstorp in the top five percent of the industry in terms of sustainability. Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has become a major provider of sustainability ratings for companies and has created a global network of more than 100,000 rated companies. "The fact that we have received more than 100 inquiries from customers interested in our EcoVadis reporting in recent years shows the value it brings to the value chain," said Anna Berggren, Perstorp Vice President Sustainability. Perstorp has made progress in three of the four assessment areas - environment, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement - in 2023.
