The FiT2clean Award, endowed with 10,000 euros and one year's free membership of the trade association, was won by Intelligent Fluids GmbH with a concept for phase fluids to replace conventional solvents in a variety of industrial cleaning applications.
The fluids consist of the main components water, oil, surfactants and activators. Instead of the chemical dissolution of contaminants, the contaminants are removed by physical lift-off effects.
These new cleaning media are not only highly effective, but also enable significant savings in operating costs. The FiT2clean Innovation Award was presented by the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT) for the second time in 2023 as part of Parts2Clean on September 28.
