Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar has congratulated C. Jentner GmbH from Pforzheim on being awarded the TOP 100 seal. At the award ceremony on Friday, June 23, all medium-sized companies that received the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year came together in Augsburg. Yogeshwar is accompanying the innovation competition, which is being held for the 30th time, as a mentor.
In the scientific selection process, C. Jentner came out on top in size category A (up to 50 employees) in the "Innovative processes and organization" category. The TOP 100 company portrait published on the occasion of the award states: "The electroplating company controls and monitors its production processes using software developed in-house and an innovative sensor system. This makes it possible to optimize processes, create better working conditions for employees - and better meet customer requirements in the future. "If we record all data digitally, we will also be able to tell customers in future how big the carbon footprint of their product is and how much CO2 we will save if we use CO2-neutral electricity," explained Managing Director Chris Jentner. His IT department "Team Technology" consists of up to seven employees. This team has developed the "IPS 6.0 Intelligent Plating Surveillance" software, which controls, monitors and monitors the plating process. "This has enabled us to minimize error-prone and manual processes, increase material efficiency and make pre- and post-calculation more precise," says Jentner. The TOP 100 seal has been awarded to medium-sized companies for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success since 1993. Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, has been the scientific director since 2002. Project partners include the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
